My hubby recently began remodeling our kitchen, which included new cabinets & a closet-sized pantry. I was seriously thinking about organizing it in nice see through containers. After reading this article, I decided I’m fine with filling the pantry with boxes & cans. Thanks for saving us some money and much hassle, Diane!
I always thought those beautiful & organized pantries were fake. Same with the organized kitchen counters. I want to see the real every day kitchen counters and pantries🤪. Mine are organized according to types of food & space available with a few of those type of The Container Stores bins (bought at TJMaxx, mind you) to store rice, sugar & flour. No labels, lol!
I wish I could share a picture here. My “pantry”, aka cupboard, is controlled chaos. It looks like a mess to anyone else, but I like to believe I know where everything is.

Well I don't have a butlers pantry or a pantry just cabinets and drawers. Not sure what that makes me . 🤷♀️ I try to keep them neat but with any bought storage containers . 😂
My friend’s daughter has a pantry just like the photo! I told my husband that a place to put all the kitchen appliances in a place like that with sturdy shelves (KitchenAid mixer😵💫) would be great!! They are on my counter which I hate😝 But my husband was laughing because he said the pantry would never look like that. 🤣

Yes, I feel like a pantry that pretty and organized probably doesn't actually get used.
