Graduating With Honors
Nothing was going to keep 14-year-old Xavier Jones from attending his 8th grade graduation and awards ceremony. So when his grandfather’s car broke down, Jones walked the 6.5 miles from his home in North St. Louis to Harris-Stow State University, where the event was being held.
The 4.0 student has remained dedicated to his studies despite difficult circumstances, according to his mentor, Darren Seals. His goal is to be a NASCAR driver.
Although he’s yet to start high school, Jones is already set for college. Administrators at Harris-Stow State University were so impressed with his efforts to attend his 8th grade graduation, they presented him with a four-year scholarship to the university.
Not Quite Ready for Graduation
High school seniors in a small Texas town will have to wait a bit longer to celebrate their graduation. Due to low grades and poor attendance, most of the 33 students in the 12th grade at Marlin High School did not qualify for graduation. In light of that, the school district postponed the ceremony a few weeks so students could catch up with their studies.
Marlin High School had already decided to switch to a four-day school week in the fall to try to address poor attendance.
Learning to Smile Again
When the Japanese government finally lifted its pandemic-era mask mandates in March, it was cause for celebration. The problem was, a lot of Japanese people had forgotten how to smile.
“I hadn’t used my facial muscles much during COVID,” said one Nipponese.
Some people have taken classes to redevelop their smiles. One company called Egaoiku (Smile Education) holds group and one-on-one classes in which students stretch the sides of their mouths upward while they look in the mirror.
Even though they have reason to smile, many Japanese continue to wear masks when possible. One poll in May found that 55% of Japanese were masking up just as much as they were when the mandates were in place.
Aliens Among Us
Yes, there is a UFO whistleblower, and he’s sounding the alarm that not only have unidentified objects been spotted, the United States has pieces of them in its possession.
Former intelligence officer David Charles Grusch, a respected former combat officer with a lot of medals, told the Debrief that “The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles” of “non-human origin.” He also testified that this information is being withheld from Congress as the United States and other countries perform top-secret operations to “reverse-engineer” the pieces.
According to Debrief: “Other intelligence officials, both active and retired, with knowledge of these programs through their work in various agencies, have independently provided similar, corroborating information, both on and off the record.”
Grusch said the vehicle parts were “of exotic origin (non-human intelligence, whether extraterrestrial or unknown origin) based on the vehicle morphologies and material science testing and the possession of unique atomic arrangements and radiological signatures.”
While some government entities continue to downplay and even renounce the idea of aliens visiting Earth, the UPDB, an open database of unexplained phenomena reports, is keeping track of UFO-type sightings in the United States and around the world. If the UPDB is to be believed, we are definitely not alone.
